Some say, “Well if he wasn’t the son of Jerry Lewis, he would never have had that success.” Does that mean we should forget Michael Douglas’s success and take back his Oscar’s because he is the son of Kirk Douglas? Or maybe we should strike Ken Griffey Jr. Those are facts that are unmatched by many groups/ individuals already inducted into the Hall of Fame. The group, Gary Lewis & The Playboys had eight gold singles, seventeen Top 40 hits, and four gold albums.
To not see the truth of that statement is to either be unaware or to totally ignore numerous, undeniable facts. It is an incredible injustice that Gary Lewis & The Playboys are not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Who is the biggest miss on this list?
